LSAS29. Midland Railway Outside Framed Kirtley 0-6-0 Tender Engine No. 842. In Midland Railway crimson lake livery. This is kit or scratchbuilt and fitted with a worm and wheel drive probably with a Mashima motor or similar, Slaters wheels, pickups on the tender, and good cab detail. This is an older model having had medium use, the worm and wheel is a touch noisy. The prototype was into service from Vulcan Works in August 1870 and lasted with the Midland Railway until July 1906 when it was sold to Italian Railways where it saw service for a further 24 years.
