LPDK03. Great Western Railway Collett 'Small Prairie' 2-6-2 Tank Loco No. 4578. Sloping tank version. In GWR plain green livery with 'Great Western' in gold shaded red as used circa post 1922 up to 1934. This is a brass model by Masterpiece Models with working inside motion and excellent cab detail. Fitted with DCC and Sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 4578). The model is lightly used and supplied in its original box with retaining stand and instructions. It has had Dingham type couplers sympathetically fitted leaving the original screw couplings in place, and the Dinghams have now been removed. It has 4 magnets to hold the cab roof in place and 2 have been lost and replaced. It is a very very slightly jerky runner. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in February 1927 and was withdrawn from Oswestry in August 1958. £995.
