CMF18. BR Pullman 'K' Class Bar Car 'The New Century Bar'. By Golden Age Models, these highly detailed brass models were factory built in brass in Korea and have been unavailable for some time. With matchboard sides and fitted with interior lighting, opening doors and glass windows and also has roller bearing axles fitted. With grey roof so representing a Pullman Car as running in post-war BR days. The model is lightly used and is supplied in a Golden Age box for a 'Hadrian Bar' bar car. The prototype of this coach was originally constructed as 'Octavia' in 1929 and went through many conversions and name changes (including 'Diamond' and 'The Trianon Bar') during its life. In 1946 it became 'The New Century Bar' for service on 'The Golden Arrow' and ran as such before being renamed as 'Diamond - The Daffodil Bar' in 1955 for service on 'The South Wales Pullman'.
