Built-in high-efficiency propulsion for operation with AC power (32vA), DC power (up to 18v) or Märklin DELTA/Digital (via type 6021 Control Unit). Adjustable maximum speed and acceleration / braking delay. Built-in sound effects electronic circuit that reproduces prototypical sounds that vary with the operating status of the locomotive. In conventional operation the brightness of the headlights varies with amount of voltage present in the track. Locomotive has doors that can be opened. Pantographs on the locomotive can be moved. Figure of a locomotive engineer and reproduction prototype couplers are included with the locomotive. Minimum radius for operation is 1,020 mm. Length over buffers 60.6 cm. Supplied in its original box on a display plinth with manual and accessories. NOTE: Requires a Marklin Type 6021 Control Unit to run Marklin Digital functions. The model was produced circa 2001/2002, has been lightly tested on DC current only and is otherwise unused. It will need lubrication before any serious running.
