LPHT08. Gauge 1 Battery Powered Remote Control GWR Collett 2-6-2 Prairie Tank Loco No. 4575. In plain GWR green livery with 'Great Western' insignia in gold shaded red as running in the post-war austerity livery circa 1919 - 1934. This is a brass model by Sancheng for Bachmann Brass. It has been professionally converted to battery power and also fitted with a Peter Spoorer radio control unit (in the bunker space), also with sound. Additionally, crew have been fitted in the cab. The model is very lightly used and is supplied in its original box with battery charger and mains lead, hand-held radio control unit, and instructions. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in February 1927 and was withdrawn from Machynlleth on the Cambrian section in August 1960 having spent almost all its BR life there. £1500.
