LRP12. GWR Churchward 'Saint' Class 4-6-0 and Tender No. 2944 'Highnam Court'. In GWR plain green livery with garter crest as running circa circa First World War (when lining was discontinued as an austerity measure) until circa 1927/28. This is kitbuilt (and painted) to an amateur standard from a Slaters brass kit (reference 7L015). Fitted with a multi-stage gearbox, a motor which looks like a small Buhler, Slaters wheels, and with very good cab detail and crew. This is a used model and the loco to tender coupling would benefit from improvement. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in 1912 as one of the 10 locos in the Saint class 'Court' series produced in that year (35 'Courts' were produced in total). It was withdrawn from Hereford shed in November 1951. £495.
