LJEP35. BR ex-LMS ex-LNWR Class G2A 'Super D' 0-8-0 Loco and Tender No. 49361. With a tender cab and in plain BR black with late crest and shedplate 21B Bescot. This is an older used model in brass, likely to be scratchbuilt, and fitted with a worm and wheel drive, what looks like a Mashima motor, solid cast steel wheels, American pickup system, and with very good cab detail and driver. The prototype was into service from Crewe Works in September 1903 as LNWR No. 1289 becoming LMS No. 9361 in 1923 and subsequently BR No. 49361 in 1948. It spent its BR life at Bescot, Bushbury and Crewe South and was withdrawn from Bescot in December 1964. RESERVED.
