CDR24. A Rake of Ten LMS Stanier Blue and Silver Coronation Scot Coaches. These are plastic models by MTH Trains and are fitted with interior electric lighting. Whilist not being fully representative the 10 coach rake is made up of (1) Brake/First No. 5052. (2) First Open No. 1071. (3) Third Open No. 9006. (4) Third Open No. 8961. (5) Third Open No. 9003. (6) Third Open No. 8950. (7) Third Open No. 8993. (8) Third Open No. 9006. (9) First Open No. 1069. (10) Brake/First No. 5054. The models have been lightly used and are supplied in their original boxes with instructions (Two 4 car sets and 2 individual coaches). Note that one number, Third Open No. 9006, is duplicated and one of these has a window out (the window is inside the coach). The prototype Coronation Scot set was into service by the LMS in 1937 for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth and it ran until the start World War II in 1939. The coaches were converted from regular Stanier Period III stock and reverted to normal use after the demise of the service. PRICE REDUCTION TO £795 FOR THE RAKE OF TEN.
