LJMA38. BR ex- LNER Gresley Class K3 2-6-0 and Tender No. 61982. In lined BR black with late crest and shedplate 40E Colwick. This is from an Anchorage brass kit and fitted with a Mashima motor, multi-stage gearbox, Slaters wheels, extra pickups on the tender (not currently connected), and with excellent cab detail. This is an older used model which has had a more recent repaint by Paul Moore. The prototype was into service from Darlington Works in 1936 as LNER No. 3822 becoming No. 1982 in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme. It became BR No. 61982 and was withdrawn from Colwick in September 1962 having spent its BR life between there, Stratford, Lincoln and March. A rarely modelled class. PRICE REDUCTION TO £895.
