CKP05B. LNER Rake of Three Gresley 'Flying Scotsman' Set Corridor Coaches. In pre-war LNER teak livery. These are by F.C. Models of Korea for Golden Age Models. Comprising (1) Corridor All Third No. 1842. (2) Corridor All Third No. 1844. (3) Corridor All Third No. 1845. These brass models are fitted with roller axle bearings for smooth running, highly detailed underframes and with glass windows. Some of the coaches have passengers fitted, and some have light weathering of the underframes. These are used models from a working layout and the following should be noted. (1) Springing has been removed from the buffers for closer coupling. (2) Although the coaches are fitted with electric lighting the pickups have been removed from the bogies as these coaches ran in a 12-coach train and it was necessary to reduce drag on the wheels (in some cases some of the under-bogie detailing has been removed to get access to remove the pickups). (3) There may been an odd seat or passenger loose internally which will require securing. The models are supplied in non-original plain boxes. I also have another pair of these coaches listed separately to make up a 5-coach train if required (but one coach number would be duplicated). The prototypes were all built at Doncaster prior to 1939 specifically for use in the Kings Cross - Edinburgh 'Flying Scotsman' services. £995 for the Rake of Three Coaches.
