Models in Korea for Golden Age Models. Comprising (1) Articulated pair of third class coaches. Brake/Third No. 45801 (Coach 'A') with Kitchen/Third No. 45802 (Coach 'B'). (2) Articulated pair of first class coaches. Open Dining First No. 45811 (Coach 'C') with Open Dining First No. 45812 (Coach 'D'). (3) Articulated pair of third class coaches. Open Dining Third No. 45831 (Coach 'G') with Brake/Third No. 45832 (Coach 'H'). This is a used set from a working layout. It had working interior lights but the electrical pickups have been removed from the wheels with other modifications to the bogies to reduce drag. Also there are some small blemishes on the paintwork, and some of the small letters/numbers on the coach sides are missing (Coach 'C' has 1 digit missing from the number 45831 on one side, Coach 'F' has the 'N' of 'LNER' missing along with the digit '4' of the number 45822 on one side. The set has buckeye couplings at each brake end for coupling to a locomotive. The models are supplied in plain boxes. The prototype commenced service in September 1937 running between Kings Cross and Leeds/Bradford hauled by A4 Pacifics (No. 4492 'Dominion of New Zealand' hauled the inaugural service). The coaches were stored during the war and The West Riding Limited resumed service in 1949. However the use of pre-war streamlined coaching stock in post-war formations is a subject in its own right as coaches moved to other trains or were withdrawn and replacement vehicles were substituted. £2995 for the 8-Coach Set.
