LKP01. LNER Gresley Class A3 Pacific 4-6-2 Loco and Tender No. 2500 'Windsor Lad'. In LNER lined apple green livery for the period 1934 - 1942. Paired with a new type non-corridor tender. This is by F.M. Models of Korea for L.H. Loveless. With fully working inside motion, opening smokebox door and excellent cab detail, also fitted with DCC and sound by Cliff Williams using an ESU Loksound chip (address 2500). It has straight through wiring between engine and tender. It has a buckeye coupling on the tender for use with Loveless and Golden Age coaches and a screw coupling on the loco. The cab doors on the loco need a little bit of adjustment. This is a used model from a working layout but remains in excellent condition, and is supplied in its original outer box (no internal boxes due to the straight through wiring). The prototype was into service from Doncaster Works to Edinburgh Haymarket in July 1934 as No. 2500. It became No. 35 in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme thence BR No. 60035. It was withdrawn from Haymarket in September 1961. PRICE REDUCTION TO £2150.
