LJWN24. LNER ex- Great Eastern Railway Holden Class F5 (GER Class F4) 2-4-2 Tank Loco No. 7589. In LNER lined black livery. This is well built and painted from a Connoisseur brass kit by Geoff Brooks and fitted with a Canon motor, single reduction gearbox, Slaters wheels and with very good cab detail and driver and a detachable cab roof. The model has had light to medium use on a working layout and the motor/gearbox combination is a touch noisy. The prototype was into service from Stratford Works in June 1907 as GER No. 589 becoming LNER No. 7589 in 1924. Subsequently it became No. 7213 in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme thence BR No. 67213. It was withdrawn from Stratford in May 1955. PRICE REDUCTION TO £395.
