LJEP01. Great Western Railway Churchward 'County' 4-4-0 and Tender No. 3820 'County of Worcester'. In lined GWR green with garter crest as used circa 1906 to 1927/28. This is scratchbuilt by renowned modeller Brian Broumpton and carries his maker's plate on the underside. Painted and lined by Alan Brackenborough. Fitted with AGH (Alan Harris) cast steel wheels, ABC gearbox, a little bit of compensation on the rear driving axle, some working inside motion, extra pickups on the tender, and with excellent cab detail and crew. The model has had light to medium use. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in December 1906 and was withdrawn in May 1931 from Reading where it had spent at least the previous 9 years, possibly longer. £2400.
