LMF13. Midland Railway Deeley 'Compound' 4-4-0 Loco and Tender No. 1056. In lined Midland Railway crimson lake livery and paired with a Deeley 3500 gallon tender. This is from a Slaters brass kit and fitted with fully working inside motion, a tiny bit of compensation on the loco leading axle, compensation on the tender, extra pickups on the tender, Maxxon motor with ABC gearbox, Slaters wheels and with very good cab detail and crew (including loco inspector). Additionally fitted with DCC and Sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 1056). This is a used model which needs wide radius curves due to limited swing on the bogie. The prototype was into service from Derby Works in May 1924 so the MR livery is perhaps not historically accurate for a loco carrying this number. It became BR No. 41056 in 1948 and was withdrawn from Leeds Holbeck in October 1953. PRICE REDUCTION TO £650.
