LKP02. LNER Gresley Class A4 Pacific and Tender No. 2509 'Silver Link'. In LNER two-tone grey livery, weathered, and fully valanced condition as running circa 1935 - 1937. Paired with a corridor tender. This is by F.M. Models of Korea for L.H. Loveless and is fitted with working inside motion, opening smokebox door and superb cab detail as befits a Korean-built loco, with crew added. Additionally it has DCC and Sound fitted by Cliff Williams using an ESU Loksound chip (address 2509). Weathering is by Richard Pogson. It has a buckeye coupling on the tender for use with Loveless and Golden Age coaches. This is a used model from a working layout but remains in excellent condition. It is missing the cab floor fall plate between loco and tender but we are trying to locate this. The model is supplied with its original inner and outer boxes. The prototype was into service from Doncaster Works to Kings Cross in September 1935. It became LNER No. 14 in the 1946 renumbering thence BR No. 60014. It was withdrawn from Kings Cross in September 1962 having spent its whole life there apart from two spells at Grantham in the 1940's. PRICE REDUCTION TO £2150.
