LJMA35. BR ex- Great Western Railway 'Razor Edge' Passenger Diesel Railcar No. W23W. In BR crimson & cream livery. This is from a brass kit built by B. R. Models as per the box (not a company I am familiar with). Nicely painted and with a well fitted interior including cab detaiI at both ends. Fitted with a twin-shaft Mashima motor driving both axles of the powered bogie via worm and wheel drives. The model is lightly used and supplied in its original box. The prototype was built at Swindon in 1940 and was one of the last to be withdrawn, in 1962, probably from Worcester as it was still in store there in July 1963. £300.
