CSL107. Pullman ‘K’ Type First Class Parlour Car ‘Zena’. As running post-war with grey roof and steel sides. This was produced in Korea by F.C. Models for Golden Age Models. These highly detailed brass models were factory built in brass and have been unavailable for some time. Fitted with working interior lighting, highly detailed interior and underframe, opening doors and glass windows. It also has roller bearing axles fitted for smooth running. This is from the second or third series of Pullman Cars produced by Golden Age and is supplied in its original box, the model is test run only. The prototype was originally part of a GWR order for Ocean Liner Expresses to run from Plymouth Millbay to London. It ran in 'The Torquay Pullman' set from 1929 but this was short lived and in 1931 it was transferred to the Southern Railway (Western Section) for its Southampton 'Ocean Liner Expresses'. It was in store for the duration of the war, served briefly on the 'Devon Belle' in 1948 then moved to East Coast services by 1949. At some point in the early 1950's it moved to the Southern Region for the 'Golden Arrow' then was allocated to the Western Region for the 'South Wales Pullman' from 1955 to 1961. After this it moved back north for the 'Yorkshire Pullman' from which it was retired in 1966, for subsequent preservation. PRICE REDUCTION TO £595.
