LGH01. GWR Collett Class 14xx 0-4-2 Tank Loco No. 4863 as a RESTORATION PROJECT. In plain GWR green with shirtbutton/roundel emblem as used circa 1934 - 1942. This is from a Springside whitemetal kit built and painted by Tony Bagwell. Fitted with a Buhler motor, Slaters wheels, worm & wheel drive, compensation on the trailing axle and with excellent cab detail and crew. The model is lightly used and supplied in its original box. It is sold as a restoration project as it is slightly hesitant when running forward and very hesitant and noisy when running in reverse. There is a small piece of brake rodding detached (but present). The prototype was into service from Swindon Works to Gloucester Horton Road in February 1936 as GWR No. 4863 (renumbered to No. 1463 in 1946). It was at Bristol Bath Road in 1948 and stayed there until withdrawal in April 1961. £295 as a RESTORATION PROJECT.
