LRP09. GWR Collett Large Prairie 2-6-2 Tank Loco No. 6106. In GWR early post-war green livery as running circa 1942 - 1948 with shedcode ‘SLO’ (Slough) on the running plate. This is by Heljan and is supplied in a plain box. The model has had light use. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in May 1931 and was withdrawn from Oxford in December 1965 and subsequently bought for preservation, in 1966, by a member of the Great Western Society at Didcot where she is still based. (Note - I have another example of the same model on the ‘Restoration Projects’ page but this is unrelated to the model on this page. No issues have been noted with this model). RESERVED.
