LRH05. Southern Railway Maunsell Class L1 4-4-0 Loco and Tender No. 1758. In Southern Railway lined olive green livery. This is an older kitbuilt model from a brass kit and fitted with a large can motor, worm & wheel drive, solid cast steel wheels, and with very good cab detail and driver. Formerly part of the Michael Heaven collection. The model has had medium use and one front lamp bracket is missing. It has a screw coupling on the loco and a Kadee coupling on the tender. The prototype was into service from the North British Locomotive Company (Glasgow) in March 1926 as No. 1758 carrying this number through to BR days when it became No. 31758 in 1951. It was withdrawn from Nine Elms in October 1959. SOLD.
