LRP03. GWR 'Dean Goods' 0-6-0 Loco and Tender No. 2516. In GWR plain green livery with 'Great Western' in gold shaded red as used circa post- First World War until about 1934. This is a used model from a brass kit built and painted to an amateur standard and fitted with a Mashima motor, worm & wheel drive, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail and crew (the Fireman is supplied but not currently fitted). It has 1 set of wiper pickups on the loco and 2 sets of plunger pickups on the tender. There is some slight damage to the left hand cab side and the worm & wheel is a touch noisy when running forward. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in March 1897 and was withdrawn from Oswestry in May 1956 after running close to 1.5 million miles. £250.
