LEJ75. LNWR Gauge 1 Electric Bowen-Cooke Class G1 0-8-0 Loco & Tender No. 1384. In lined LNWR black livery. This is a scratchbuilt model in brass (with possibly some parts in nickel-silver) by renowned modelmaker Geoff Holt, with his maker's plates on the underside of the loco and tender, and the model was formerly part of the Pete Waterman collection. Fitted with a heavy duty multi-stage gearbox, large can motor, turned steel wheels (rim insulated), compensation on the middle 2 loco axles and the centre tender axle, and with excellent cab detail. The wheels on the third axle are flangeless to improve the negotiation of tighter curves. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Crewe Works in February 1912 as the second of the class. It became LMS No. 9156 in January 1928 and BR No. 49156 in August 1949. Withdrawal took place from Stockport Edgeley in February 1951. SOLD.
