CQL47. Rake of Three LNER Tourist Stock Open/Vestibule Corridor Coaches. In LNER green and cream livery. These are factory built by Sunset Models of Korea (under the Kemilway brand) and are superbly built in brass with fully painted and fitted interiors, and with Kemilway highly detailed underframes with sprung, free running, fully detailed bogies. Comprising the following. (1) Tourist Open Brake/Third No. 22267. (2) Tourist Buffet Car No. 21607. (3) Tourist Open Brake/Third No. 31096. This 3 coach set is lightly used and is supplied in an original Kemilway box which holds 4 models (but is not the correct box for this actual set). Due to the box size, insured shipping (UK and International) will be by DHL only at cost price. Alternatively the new owner may wish them to be sent in plain boxes via Royal Mail Special Delivery (fully insured) at £32.75 (applies to UK only). Introduced in 1933 as excursion coaches in the unusual LNER green and cream livery, the ‘Tourist Stock’ originally comprised of five sets of 12-coach trains. The coaches eventually made their way into other formations and lasted through BR days into the 1960’s first in crimson and cream and later maroon. In my opinion these are the finest factory-built coaches available in this price range. RESERVED.
