LJEP27. GWR Dean 'Bulldog' Class 4-4-0 and Tender No. 3303 'St. Anthony'. In lined GWR green livery with garter crest as used circa 1907 to 1927/28 (but excluding the First World War austerity years). This is from a Martin Finney brass kit believed to be built and painted by Chris Wesson but not signed. Fitted with a Portescap motor/gearbox, solid cast wheels, compensation on the 2 loco driving axles and a little bit on 2 tender axles, working inside motion, American pickup system, and with excellent cab detail and crew. The model is lightly used and was originally built for a doctor whose first name was 'Anthony'. The prototype was a December 1907 rebuild of 'Duke' class 4-4-0 No. 3264 'St. Anthony', being renumbered to 3303 but retaining the same name. The name was removed in 1930 and the loco was withdrawn from Gloucester in May 1932 (I have commented previously on Gloucester seemingly being a one-way ticket for locos at the end of their life).
