LRS19. BR ex- LMS Hughes/Fowler 'Crab' 2-6-0 and Tender No. 42940. In lined BR black livery with early crest, weathered, and with shedplate 3D Aston (Birmingham). This has a Sancheng body on a kit or scratchbuilt chassis and fitted with what looks like a Sancheng multi-stage gearbox and probably Sancheng wheels. With compensation on the leading two driving axles and a little bit of compensation on the centre tender axle, and with excellent cab detail. Additionally fitted with DCC (no sound) - address 2940, but not sure of the chip manufacturer. It will also run on DC. The model is lightly used. As it has AWS equipment and electrification flashes fitted, it should really have the later BR crest on the tender. The prototype was into service from Horwich Works in 1932 and was withdrawn probably from Stockport in September 1965 as it was in store there awaiting disposal at that time, although towards the end of its life it had been at Buxton. £895.
