LDR13. LNER Gresley Class 'V2' 2-6-2 Loco and Tender No. 4790. In LNER lined apple green livery. This is probably kitbuilt, in brass, and carries the maker's plate 'Keith Barber, Birmingham, 1996' (unfortunately KB is no longer with us). Fitted with an unidentified can motor coupled to a heavy duty multi-stage gearbox, Slaters wheels, extra pickups on the tender and very good cab detail. This is an older used model with no pickups on the front loco axle, a front lamp bracket missing, and the front coupling missing (the hook is present). The cab roof is removable. The issues do not affect the runnihg capability which is good. The prototype was into service from Darlington Works to Aberdeen Ferryhill in November 1937 as LNER No. 4790. It was renumbered to No. 819 in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme and subsequently BR No. 60819. It seems to have spent its whole life in Scotland being withdrawn from Edinburgh St. Margarets in December 1962. PRICE REDUCTION TO £725.
