LGS36. BR Peppercorn Class A1 Pacific 4-6-2 & Tender No. 60116 'Hal O' The Wynd'. With a rivetted tender and in lined BR green with early crest and shedplate 52A Gateshead. This is from one of the original DJH Limited Edition whitemetal and brass kits (circa 1997) and is supplied in its original box. Built by J. Constantine and painted by Larry Goddard (signed). Fitted with a Canon motor, ABC multi-stage gearbox, extra pickups on the tender, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail and crew. Additionally fitted with DCC using an ESU chip (address 6116) but no sound. It will also run on DC power. The model has had light to medium use and is supplied in its original box. The prototype to an LNER design was into service from Doncaster Works to Heaton in October 1948. It went to Tweedmouth in September 1962 then Gateshead in October 1964 from where it was withdrawn in June 1965.
