LCD01. Southern Railway ex-London, Brighton & South Coast Rly Stroudley Class E1 0-6-0 No. 2 'Yarmouth'. In lined Southern Railway olive green livery. This is kitbuilt from an Albion Models brass kit and fitted with an ABC multi-stage gearbox, Canon or similar motor, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail and removable roof. The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original box. The prototype was into service from Brighton Works in 1877 originally as No. 110 'Burgundy'. After various changes and modifications it entered Southern Railway stock and was renumbered to B110. However it was sold in 1927 to the Cannock and Rugeley Colliery Company where it started a new life which took it through to 1963. Withdrawn again, it then entered preservation and eventually made its way to the Isle of Wight as No. W2 'Yarmouth'. It is currently out of service awaiting an extensive overhaul including a new boiler. £750.
