LCD06. BR ex- Great Western Railway Collett 'King' 4-6-0 and Tender No. 6028 'King George VI'. Fitted with a double chimney and in lined BR green with late crest, with medium weathering, and shedplate 81A Old Oak Common. It also has a headboard 'The Red Dragon' fitted. This is a brass model by Sancheng for Tower Brass and is fitted with compensation on the leading 2 driving axles and all tender axles, and with excellent cab detail and crew. Additionally fitted with DCC (no sound) using an ESU chip (address 6028). It will also run on DC power but rather reluctantly (runs fine on DCC). The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original box. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in July 1930 and was withdrawn from Old Oak Common in November 1962 after covering 1.6 million miles. It then went to Birds at Risca in June 1964 so never had a chance of survival. £950.
