LMB018. BR ex-LMS ex-London & North Western Railway Webb 2-4-2 Tank Loco No. 46757. In BR lined black livery with early crest, lightly weathered, and shedplate 10E Sutton Oak (St. Helens, Lancs). This looks to be from an early brass kit and fitted with an open frame motor, worm and wheel drive, solid cast wheels, basic cab detail and basic underframe detail. The model is lightly used. The worm & wheel is a touch noisy and the motor is wired positive to negative (so 'forward' on the controller is 'reverse' and vice-versa). The prototype was into service from Crewe Works in July 1897 and was withdrawn from Rugby in February 1953 having been at Sutton Oak for its early BR years. £325.
