LCD02. Great Western Railway Collett 'Small Prairie' 2-6-2 Tank Loco No. 4579. This is the sloping tank version in plain green livery with 'Great Western' in gold shaded red as running circa pre- 1934. This is a brass model by Sancheng for Tower Brass and has sprung leading and centre driving axles, and with excellent cab detail. Additionally fitted with DCC and Sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 4579). It will also run on DC power with limited sound function. The model is very lightly used and is supplied in its original box with DCC/Sound instructions. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in February 1927 and was withdrawn from Whitland (West Wales) in September 1958. £750.
