LRH13. BR ex-LNER ex-Great Eastern Railway Holden Class D16 'Claud Hamilton' 4-4-0 & Tender No. 62605. In lined BR black with early crest and shedplate 31B March. This is an older used model kitbuilt in brass and fitted with a Mashima motor, single stage gearbox, Slaters wheels, a representation of working inside motion, an extra set of pickups on the tender, and with good cab detail and crew. It has a screw coupling on the loco and a Kadee coupling on the tender. Although it runs fine there are one or two issues to be addressed. (1) The wiper pickups on the front driving wheels would benefit from replacement. (2) one of the the front railguards is missing. 93) There are a few blemishes on the paintwork. The prototype was into service from Stratford Works in May 1911 as GER No. 1794 becoming LNER No. 8794 in 1924 renumbered by the LNER to No. 2605 in 1946. As BR No. 62605 (number acquired in October 1948) It was withdrawn from either March or Cambridge in June 1957. £695.
