LDTH06. GWR Collett '57xx' Class 0-6-0 Pannier Tank No. 8776. In plain GWR green, with medium to heavy weathering, and with 'Great Western' in gold shaded red as running in the 1920's up to 1934. Weathered by Neil Podbury. This is by Masterpiece Models and has an opening smokebox door with interior detail, working inside motion, turned steel wheels with all axles sprung, and with excellent cab detail. Additionally fitted with DCC and Sound (address 8776). It also runs on DC with sound. The model is lightly used. I am taking steps to acquire the original Masterpiece box and should have it shortly. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in January 1934 and looks to have spent its entire life in South Wales being withdrawn from Barry in December 1962. Despite being on Dai Woodham's doorstep its final journey took it back to Swindon for disposal. £1295.
