LDTH13. GWR Armstrong '517' Class 0-4-2 Tank Loco No. 545. In plain GWR green livery, probably representing the period from just before the First World War up to about 1920. This is from a Malcolm Mitchell brass kit and is fitted with AGH (Alan Harris) turned steel wheels, a Portescap motor/gearbox, dummy inside motion, compensation on the centre axle, and with excellent cab detail. Additionally fitted with DCC using a ZTC chip (address 545), no sound. It also runs on DC but requires plenty of voltage so tends to run fast. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Wolverhampton Works in April 1869 as GWR No. 1068, being quickly renumbered to No. 545 in July 1870. It was withdrawn in September 1928. £795.
