LST15. BR (LNER Designed) Peppercorn A1 Pacific & Tender No. 60161 'North British'. In early BR lined blue livery with shedplate 64B Edinburgh Haymarket, and paired with a fully rivetted tender. This is from a DJH whitemetal and brass kit and is fitted with what looks like DJH's own motor and heavy duty multi-stage gearbox, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail. This is a substantial model which has had light to medium use. The BR blue livery is too light and ideally needs weathering down. The prototype was into service from Doncaster Works to Haymarket in December 1949 and spent its whole life north of the border. It was withdrawn from Edinburgh St. Margarets in October 1963 and met its end at Inverurie Works in January 1964. £995.
