LNC04. LNER ex- North Eastern Railway Worsdell Class D20 4-4-0 & Tender No. 711 (NER Class 'R'). In LNER lined black livery. This is from a DJH whitemetal and brass kit, factory built and painted by John Dinsdale as a special order for the then owner of DJH. Fitted with a Canon motor, heavy duty multi-stage gearbox, dummy inside motion, Slaters wheels and with superb cab detail. The model is lightly used and is wired positive to negative so 'forward' on the controller is 'reverse' and vice versa. The prototype was into service from Gateshead Works in October 1906 as No. 711. It became No. 2374 in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme thence BR No. 62374. At the time of Nationalisation (01/01/48) it was at Selby and was withdrawn from there in October 1954. The last destination was Darlington Works and by November 1954 No. 62374 had ceased to exist. RESERVED.
