LGS37. BR ex-Southern Rly ex-South Eastern & Chatham Wainwright 'D' Class 4-4-0 & Tender No. 31075. In lined BR black with early crest and shedplate 75B Redhill. This is from a David Andrews/Javelin brass kit and is fitted with an ABC multi-stage gearbox, a Canon or similar motor, Slaters wheels, and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original box. The prototype was into service from Dubs & Co. (Glasgow) in March 1903 as SE&CR No. 1075, one of a class affectionately known as 'Coppernobs'. It kept this number through Southern Railway days becoming BR No. 31075 in January 1950. It was withdrawn from Guildford in December 1956 having spenty its BR life between there and St. Leonards, Reading, Tonbridge and Redhill. £895.
