LTE02. LMS ex-Midland Railway Johnson 0-6-0 Tank Loco No. 1873. In LMS plain black livery with lettering in gold shaded red. This is an older used model from a brass kit and fitted with a Mashima or similar motor, worm & wheel drive, turned steel wheels, and good cab detail. The model is well weighted. The prototype was into service from Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd in August 1899 as MR No. 2374 renumbered to No. 1873 in the 1907 renumbering scheme. It retained this number through LMS days becoming BR No. 41873 in 1948. It was withdrawn from Hasland in January 1950. £250.
