LDS026. LNER Gresley Class J50/4 0-6-0 Tank Loco No. 605. In plain LNER black livery. This is a substantial, used, older model from a whitemetal kit and fitted with solid cast wheels, a Portescap motor/gearbox, and with good cab detail. The prototype to a Great Northern design was into service from Gorton Works in 1938 as No. 605 renumbered to No. 8981 in the LNER 1946 renumbering scheme, thence BR No. 68981. It was withdrawn from Hornsey in April 1961. £250,
