LJAI01. LMS ex-Caledonian Railway McIntosh Class '439' 0-4-4 Tank Loco No. 15160. In LMS lined black livery, lightly weathered, with shedplate 29A Perth. This is kitbuilt in brass and fitted with a Portescap motor/gearbox, Slaters wheels, a little bit of compensation on the driving axles, and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used and the Portescap is a touch noisy. The prototype was into service from St. Rollox Works in March 1900 as CR No. 440 becoming LMS No. 15160 in 1924. It was renumbered to BR No. 55160 in December 1949 and was withdrawn from Inverness in October 1958 having been there since December 1949 (previously at Forfar). £495.
