LDM29. Great Western Railway Dean 'Duke' Class 4-4-0 & Tender No. 3279 'Tor Bay'. In plain GWR green, weathered, with 'Great Western' in gold shaded red as running circa pre-1934. This is from a David Andrews brass kit built and painted by Dave Murdoch. Fitted with an ABC multi-stage gearbox (with what looks to be a Maxxon motor), Slaters wheels, dummy inside motion, and with very good cab detail and crew. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in March 1897 and was a rare withdrawal from Andover Junction (Midland & South Western Junction Railway) in October 1938 having spent its last 3 years there. £1100.
