LMD05. Great Western Railway Dean '3232' Class 2-4-0 Loco and Tender No. 3245. In GWR fully lined and panelled livery circa 1900 - 1906 with scroll crest on the tender. This is from a Martin Finney brass kit built and painted by Chris Wesson. Fitted with working inside motion, a Portescap motor/gearbox, turned steel wheels, compensation on the loco driving axles and the leading two tender axles, and with excellent cab detail. The model has been lightly used as a display case model. Note that the electrical pickups are on the tender. The class of 20 prototypes were introduced by Dean in 1892 inititally for services from Paddington to South Wales later demoted to secondary services as more powerful types became available. No. 3245 was into service from Swindon Works in June 1893 and was withdrawn in September 1926. RESERVED.
