LEJ29. Great Western Railway Armstrong '517 ' Class 0-4-2 Tank Loco No. 563. In the GWR pre- 1906 lined passenger livery (although the GWR carried on lining small passenger tank locos after 1906, at least until 1910). This is factory built for Lee Marsh Models by SMT in Korea and is Order No. 38 of a small production run now sold out. Fitted with stunning cab detail and working inside motion. Also fitted with DCC and sound using an ESU Loksound decoder (address 563). The model is supplied in its original box with accessories (including magnetic tool boxes not yet fitted), instructions, and gloves, having been very lightly used. I do not have the display plinth. There is also a DCC blanking plug for running the loco on DC if required (this is an easy fit inside the opening smokebox door). A driver and fireman have been fitted in the cab. The prototype was built at Wolverhampton Works (Stafford Road) as part of batch 'G' of 12 locos Nos. 553 - 564 in 1869, the class eventually totalling 156 Iocos. They were used for local passenger work. The last survivor (No. 848) was scrapped in 1945. RESERVED.
