BR Riddles Standard Class 4 2-6-0 and Tender No. 76023 — Steamline Ltd.

LJEP16. BR Riddles Standard Class 4 2-6-0 and Tender No. 76023. In lined BR black with late crest, weathered, with no shedplate currently fitted. This is from a brass kit possibly by DJB Engineering and is fitted with a multi-stage gearbox (not sure of the motor type), Walsall cast steel wheels on the loco with Slaters wheels on the tender, extra pickups on the tender, and with very good cab detail and crew. This is a used model from a working layout. The prototype was into service from Doncaster Works to Sunderland in December 1952. It had numerous allocations in the North and Midlands ending up at Stoke in January 1965 from where it was withdrawn in October 1965. It went to Cashmore's at Great Bridge in January 1966 from where the chances of survival were nil. RESERVED.
