LKR16. Great Western Railway Collett Class 5101 ‘Large Prairie’ 2-6-2 Tank Loco No. 5109. In GWR plain green livery with gold lettering shaded red as used circa early 1920's up to 1934. This is by HK Trains of Korea for Lee Marsh Models, Production No. 1 of 2014. With all the usual Lee Marsh refinements including fully working inside motion, opening smoke door, and superb cab detail. Also fitted with DCC and Sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 5109) but it has a DC/DCC toggle switch inside the smokebox so will also run on DC if required with limited sound (also the chip is programmed to recognise when running on DC voltage, even when the switch is set to DCC). The model is test run only and is supplied in its original box and packing with accessories, tools, user manual, gloves and plinth. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in December 1929 and certainly spent time in the West Midlands before withdrawal came from Stourbridge Junction in June 1957. £1995.
