LKR43. Great Western Railway Dean 0-4-4 Tank Loco No. 34. In lined GWR livery without insignia. This is an older model in brass and is probably scratchbuilt. Fitted with a Canon motor, ABC type multi-stage gearbox, solid cast wheels and very good cab detail (with crew - not currently fitted). The model has had medium use and the motor/gearbox is likely to be a more recent replacement. The prototype was one of two locos (Nos. 34/35) designed by William Dean in 1890 as 0-4-2 Saddle Tanks for the Helston and St Ives branches in Cornwall. In 1895 they were rebuilt as 0-4-4 Tank Locos. In 1908 No. 34 was sold to the Woolmer Instructional Military Railway, which later became the Longmoor Military Railway. PRICE REDUCTION TO £695.
