LWA05. Midland Railway Former Johnson '2203' Class 4-4-0 Loco and Tender No. 462 as Rebuilt by Fowler. In post 1905 fully lined Midland Railway livery. This is a scratchbuilt model in brass and fitted with a Mashima motor, single stage gearbox, Slaters wheels and with excellent cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype was into service from Derby Works as MR No. 164 in September 1894. It was renumbered to No. 462 in April 1907 and was rebuilt by Fowler to become one of the '483' Class in October 1916. It survived through LMS days and into BR days being eventually withdrawn from Ryecroft (Walsall) as BR No. 40462 in May 1951. £750.
