LWA04. Great Western Railway 'Dean Goods' Class 0-6-0 Loco and Tender No. 2320. In fully lined and panelled GWR pre-1906 livery with scroll crest. This is factory built for Lee Marsh Models by SMT in Korea and is order No. 14 of 2018, the production run having sold out some time ago. Fitted with superb cab detail and working inside motion. Also fitted with DCC and sound using an ESU Loksound decoder (address 2320) but it can also run on DC by fitting a DCC blanking plug (supplied) in the smokebox. The model is supplied in its original box with instructions, unused accessories, plinth, gloves, DCC blanking plus and additional drawbar and is very lightly used or test run only. The prototype, from the first production batch, was into service from Swindon Works in November 1883 and was withdrawn in November 1944. However wartime withdrawals were unusual and the date suggests that it may have gone into War Department service but I don't have confirmation of that (another alternative is that it may have been damaged in service). A type B4 boiler presumably with the Belpaire firebox had been fitted in January 1907. SOLD.
