LGST130. LMS ex- London & North Western Railway 'Precursor' Class 4-4-0 and Tender No. 25297 'Sirocco'. In lined LMS black livery, weathered. This is from a Javelin brass kit built by Ken Mason and painted by Paul Rusted. Fitted with a Sancheng multi-stage gearbox with a Sancheng motor, Slaters wheels, a tiny bit of compensation of the leading loco driving axle and on the centre tender axle, and with very good cab detail. The model is lightly used. The prototype to a George Whale design was into service from Crewe Works as LNWR No. 643 in November 1904. It became LMS No. 5297 in 1927 renumbered to LMS No. 25297 in 1936. It was withdrawn from Chester (Midland) in June 1949 having been allocated BR No. 58010 which was never applied. SOLD.
